Vietnam Airlines will increase daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok starting Dec. 1, with promotional fares from VND4 million.
Vietnam Airlines has announced plans to increase its daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Bangkok, Thailand, from three to four flights per day starting December 1. The expanded service will be operated using Airbus A321 aircraft.

This change will bring the total number of direct flights operated by Vietnam Airlines between Vietnam and Thailand to nearly 50 per week, covering routes from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. The airline currently offers the highest seat capacity on its Thailand routes compared to other Southeast Asian destinations.

According to a representative of Vietnam Airlines, this decision aims to meet the growing demand for air travel between the two cities while boosting economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges. The increased connectivity will further strengthen cooperation opportunities and reinforce the significance of Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok as key economic and cultural hubs in the region.

In celebration of the new flight schedule, Vietnam Airlines is offering a promotional deal, with round-trip tickets starting at VND4 million (US$164).
